Transport service
PKS Gdańsk Oliwa SA is one of the biggest road carriers in northern Poland. Our business potential is made of our own trucks and the subcontracted ones.
We offer our cargo carriage services on 200 vehicles with various functions and cargo capacity, from simple delivery vans to road-trains and container units. We provide our transport service with our modern fleet, mainly based upon tractors of such make as:
- DAF XF 95 95 type 380 and 430,
- SCANIA R 420,
Our trucks meet the requirements of the Euro 2, Euro 3 and Euro 5 emission standards.
We provide cargo carriage services all over Europe, and also in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Middle East.
In 2006 we carried over 93,200 tonnes of cargo on domestic and international routes. A major part of the transported cargo was carried between Poland and other EU countries.
In order to provide perfect monitoring of the transport process all our vehicles have been equipped with GSM communication systems and GPS on-board satellite navigation systems, which enable constant contact with our drivers and monitoring of the traffic.
